I was born at Camp Lejeune after the Korean ‘conflict.’ By the time my second stay at ‘Lejeune’ arrived I was aware of two things. Dad wore a dog tag that read “People Are No Damn Good” and he was one of six men in his platoon to survive an ambush while in Korea. 

He always said, “Writing a book? Leave that chapter out” when we talked about somethings. This knowledge, as limited as it was, had an affect on my engagement with reality proper. When we add “Trust No One” we get a well rounded understanding of why I prefer to live in moat-like seclusion. I don’t exactly ‘hide in my music’ and ‘forget the day.’ I simply have to step back and wrestle with the day-by-day “my way.”

So now I am playing behind the ‘8 Ball’ with the persona of the Anti-Christ. All I have to do is ask ‘the body of Christ’ why the fact they have a tailbone that will not grow a tail does not allow their proper use of logic and reason to cancel their belief in hell? Why do Christians have to teach children with a lie and lead them to believe ‘souls’ go to hell?
