2024 is the Year of the Dragon Loong

Growing up a few cards short of a full deck has left me with the freedom to scratch my head a lot since being born into a world where people are using the name of Jesus to taint ‘God’s amazing grace’ with a lie.

When is slander, not slander? Have people in the past been punished for saying something untrue about some one else?

Slander is okay if it’s political? Could someone at Duke who is not infected with unnatural affection for a rib bone fib, Duke Law, maybe, ‘stir the water’ and explain why a politician can lie? Can Transylvanians read anything published by Duke’s student body that states for the record “no child should be taught to carry the cross for a rib bone fib and pretend that silver from the lie can make America great again.”?
