If members of Congress thought it was wise to guard their hearts, because they believed it was prudent to do so, would they allow someone to teach their children with a lie, put lipstick on a pig, and call it “grace from God?” Duke Divinity’s faculty apparently does. Why? Should members of Congress be in Congress, if they believe it is okay to teach children with a lie? Should the question become an unofficial litmus test for elections in 2024?
