Let’s imagine a seminarian’s writing project that allowed for polling any elementary school for the purposes of divining the will of those who are just beginning their education in America.

Let’s imagine each student in grades 1 through 3 being asked one question and one question ‘ping only.’

Do you think your classmates should be taught with the truth or a lie?

If Duke seminary’s faculty really understood what Jesus must have been about, assuming they believe he was actually a real person, they would not say, “We must deny all children their freedom to be taught with the truth. It is better to substitute the rib bone fib and create a cornerstone for faith in God that allows them to worship with childish make-believe.”  (What Sherlock said.)

Americans should consider teaching children with a lie “very serious criminal conduct.” When children are taught with the truth they are less likely to become citizens who look like these fellows in Raleigh, N.C.
