The term ‘cognitive dissonance’ is not found in the King James version of the bible. Now that I am 68 years old, I’m tempted to explain the term as ‘dementia’ or that foggy state of mind represented by “Jim” on Taxi.❤ When someone says “For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. … For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing” they suffer from cognitive dissonance.
Let’s make it plain ‘er.’
Parents who love children don’t teach them with a lie.
All of us have tailbones. Truth helps us explain why.
Cognitive dissonance in a Christian’s mind is manufactured by faith in a lie. Normal people don’t believe children should be taught with a lie. Every Christian tells a lie when claiming “God cursed Eve.”
If God is real, as some believe, can God want parents to teach children with a lie, if it’s true that the truth can set captives free? How does God free people who’ve twisted the truth into heresy while claiming their heresy represents “the will of God for the people of ‘God.’”? Duke Divinity lacks integrity when it covets childish make-believe. What does Southeastern think? Does having a phallus make the lie kosher? Can grace help seminaries grow a pair and renounce the lie that makes believers ignore the truth that sets them free? (Yes. Mom’s for Liberty do not need to teach with Adam and Eve when God blesses America.)
Abraham’s children are caught in the lie that began with good intent. It has evaporated because primitive fundamentalism uses fear as a gateway for imperfect social cohesion. Fear is not grace from God (or conviction from an imaginary Trinity). Paranoia comes from the heresy that frames the Old and New Testaments. Donald Trump now serves as Exhibit B, seeking to exploit fear with heresy.
No one who believes Satan is real should be serving in Congress. Wouldn’t it be funny to make everyone who wants to purchase a firearm sign a statement saying, “I understand that Satan is the product of the Jewish make-believe fable currently being misunderstood as literal truth, … instead of ‘fertile fiction.’”? Guns do not kill people. Illiteracy can.* The KKK is rotten to the core. They are not born again. They’re using ‘Jesus’ to promote hate. Neighbors choose to walk with an invisible tail when they make children believe God sends souls to hell.
What does Tulsi think? Can children be taught with a lie if judges serve God and Country instead of a fable?* Should anyone own a gun if they cannot understand why they have a tailbone that does not grow a tail? I’d like to see a 2023 with Tulsi and Bill O orchestrating a program on Fox called “Why our tailbones don’t grow a tail!” Rupert would be remembered as a saint for his efforts to raise the bar for sanity, knowledge and understanding while cancelling the fraud that begins with Adam and Eve! That’s a win-win, if there ever was one. Catholicism is a catalyst for America’s ‘dark night.’ (‘We’ know Rupert is officially retired.)
True or False?
Can Time still help Rupert, et al. teach our Christian neighbors with the whole truth?
Duke’s ‘Moms for Liberty’ need help.
