Circumcising Cognitive Dissonance

Cognitive dissonance is ‘like a fog for clarity.’ If minds that are infected by cognitive dissonance are able to go “bat shit crazy” how does ‘God’ empower grace and use truth to free neighbors from the ignorance that gave birth to the KKK?
