The Class of ’73

The children born in ‘1955’ were considered ‘to be’ among the ‘late boomers.’ We are Uncle Sam’s rear guard for the truth that sets us free. Eve never tempted Adam. There was no forbidden tree.

Some of us went to Quantico (MCB) High, located about 36 miles south of Washington, D.C. Those who lived on base attended. ’68 and ’69 included ‘Woodstock,’ quaaludes, and LSD. Now the kids wrestle with fentanyl. That’s the backdrop for today’s assignment. (FYI: my own personal experience came later in ’73. (Thank you.)

Millions of people believe they have an intimate relationship with Jesus. That relationship requires two holidays, fiction, and the willingness to dismiss the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Here’s a hypothetical for those who are now coveting and teaching heresy at Duke’s Seminary. If you were a student there today, and God wanted you to free America from ignorance stamped holy, how would ‘God’ go about helping you understand that Christians are putting lipstick on a pig? Suppose ‘God’ could help you flip the switch, transcend the cognitive dissonance that drives your affection for ignorance stamped holy, and leave you with the impression you are actually ‘the one’ walking in the shoes of the Anti-Christ? (Remember Job?)

We’ll skip the particulars. ‘Moses’ wandered (allegedly wandered) for 40 years. I pinched it a bit @ 37 when I ripped Genesis from one of 29-b’s many bibles. (2010) Adding ten brings us to 2023.

It’s interesting that the tree for our ‘White House’ is coming from Transylvania County this year. I wish “Tommy” was ‘here’ to help with the project. Many others are gone now too. Becky first. Then Dad. (Mom is well.) ‘My generation’ grew up with Alvin’s lyric “I’d love to change the world, but I don’t know what to do.” … Alvin didn’t know. … Mylon couldn’t help. If God is real, does ‘God’ know how? Duh.  (I love this song.)

The exercise of choice (and the causality from every choice) drives necessity when the choice leads to fatal consequences. Albert was right. “We cannot solve our problems by putting lipstick on a pig.”

Donald holding up the Bible for ‘the photo op’ represents the pig. All of us suffer from cognitive dissonance. Everyone ‘in Christ’ has sold their integrity. Many did so without knowing their trust was betrayed. Jesus died. SCOTUS is guilty of high treason.

Pick 1.

a. ‘God’ wants us to illuminate truth and benefit from its blessings.
b. ‘God’ wants us to ignore truth and substitute imperfect conjecture (so we “can nuke ’em all and let God decide).”

Duke’s Seminary staff chose ‘b’ because it suffers from cognitive dissonance. The holidays normalize the fraud leaving all fellowships in Christ flawed. Jesus died.

None of you can walk on water and yet all of you claim to have the same ‘Spirit” dwelling in you that dwelt in Jesus. You cannot walk on water, but you are convinced that ‘Pentecost, et al.’ has left you filled with the mystery of ‘living water!’ You are filled with mystery. When we subtract Adam and Eve, we make room for the truth that sets you free. ‘Sin’ is a figment of imagination. It drives the insanity we see in this picture. Every Bible begins with ‘the lie’ that more mature (but still delusional) neighbors now call ‘a myth.’ Duke’s anarchy is problematic. It must be done away with.

Satan isn’t real. Jesus died.

Last night I heard about the attack on Salmon Rushdie. “People are no damn good” when they teach children with a lie. Abrahamic faith is anathema.
