As ‘lejeune’s ass,’ I’ve become uniquely qualified to assist those chaplains caught in the madness wrought by imperfect conjecture. No one needs to read the late Bishop Spong’s final treatise on the pitfalls associated with primitive fundamentalism. Many would find it dull and disagreeable. (pedantic) Let’s take a short cut.
What causes logic and reason to become anemic? What causes some people to look at the equation 2 + 2 and think the answer is 5? (Joe D-WV: “It’s better to do nothing than do something that makes us raise taxes on the rich.”)
When perjured truth is used as the cornerstone or baseline for education common sense suffers from ignorance being taught as grace from ‘God.’ ‘Good News‘ doesn’t make two plus two equal five. The rib bone fib does.
Those who have been sucker punched by the perjured truth found in Genesis can think they possess genuine and “sincerely held (religious) beliefs.” If ‘God’ wanted to free them from their sincerely false beliefs, how would ‘God’ do so? Would ‘God’ add lipstick to the perjured truth and promise eternal life, or would ‘God’ correct the cornerstone/baseline infecting common sense, logic, or reason with the ignorance from imperfect conjecture? (i.e., Genesis)
The chaplains serving in our armed forces cannot deal with the problem effectively because they also suffer from the very same cognitive dissonance. THEY ARE UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO WRESTLE WITH WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A TAILBONE THAT DID NOT GROW A TAIL.
Why should anyone be given a religious exemption when those who are seeking the religious exemptions cannot discern the difference between what is true and what is false? If the capacity to discern the truth from biblical fiction strengthens public safety, we need to square the circle.
When 2 + 2 is free to equal 4 men and women understand why their tailbone has no tail.
When 2 + 2 is made to equal 5, lipstick disguises the rib bone fib with the imagery of Christ and neighbors continue to call themselves Christians, Muslims, and Jews. Necessity requires the appearance of oversimplification in order to drive a stake through the heart of the childish make-believe infecting every American who has been clubbed by a rib fib and/or believes that Satan is real.
Believing that Satan is real does not qualify you for a religious exemption. If you are in the service, it should qualify you for an immediate discharge. You should never have been allowed to become a member in the first place. When literacy falters January 6’s occur again and again. (Anarchy fosters futility when the anarchists cannot discern truth from fiction.)
Because SCOTUS is a lukewarm branch of American governance millions of neighbors suffer from exposure to the perjured truth that prevents them from discerning what is real from what is fiction.
COVID is real. Satan and Christ are not. No acolyte of atonement doctrine is worthy of a religious exemption for any occasion because all acolytes of heresy are coveting ignorance that should have been thrown out of courts, Congress and seminaries after the publication of Darwin’s ‘On the Origin of Species.’
SCOTUS is guilty of high treason. Soldiers who think they deserve exemptions are victims of their collective high treason. Judicial anarchy has prevented them from embracing the truth that empowers equality, liberty and justice for all. When they repent, the Constitution cannot protect perjured truth and our memories of Jesus can be freed from the idolatry he stood against. Intellectualism that deliberately uses fear and extortion to manipulate and defeat our quest for a more perfect union must be done away with. When we eviscerate the fraud wrought with Adam and Eve Christendom inherits the proverbial whirlwind.
Satan isn’t real. Jesus died.
