Most third graders can grok the meaning of the word “fog.” Cognitive dissonance is a six-syllable term for intellectual “fog.” No one “in Christ” understands cognitive dissonance correctly. Judeo/Christian (Abrahamic) faith infects the mind with spiritual dementia.

What happens when Christians do not “see through a glass darkly?” What happens when they are able to connect the dots and see 2 + 2 = 4?

Exhibit B is somewhat amusing. If you were to ask either of the participants if it is wise to teach children with perjured truth, do you think they would agree on the answer, if one were a Christian republican and one were a Christian democrat? Let’s makes a plausible assumption and say both would answer with the statement “it is not wise to teach children with perjured truth because perjured truth sows chaos, division, and strife.” (or “It is wrong to teach with a lie.”)
John Roberts understands why he and his 8 colleagues have a tailbone that did not grow a tail. If I build the bridge properly, will they be able to embrace the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, if truth flows from heaven’s throne and ‘God’ is omnipotent? Christians want to go to heaven. They believe in a Judgment Day. What happens when grace subtracts the lie that has led them all astray?
When justice for all becomes real in America SCOTUS cannot allow any part of the U. S. Constitution to protect perjured truth. The passage of time has revealed the perjured truth that frames the doctrine of atonement. FYI: Any religious doctrine framed with perjured truth is heresy. All downstream dogma that evolves from the perjured truth represents “garbage out,” regardless of how warm and fuzzy some might feel when they think about “pearly gates.” “Feelings” make many religious believers embrace the nonsense structured with childish make-believe. John Roberts thinks he must protect the childish make-believe. John is suffering from the fog of cognitive dissonance when he believes perjured truth, which does not flow from the throne of God, must be protected so Jews and Christians can suffer from the fraud fog that begins with the childish make-believe.
