If Jesus had lived to the age of say ’55’ and was born when Mary was ’20,’ and Mary lived to be ’75,’ would Jesus have encouraged Mary to get a Covid vaccination? Would Jesus say, “You’ve been clubbed by a rib bone fib. You can get a ‘religious exemption.’ You don’t need a vaccination.”? If Jesus represented the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, as he understood it then, would he have said “it’s okay if you ‘snuff it,’ you’re going to heaven anyway, praise be to God!”? If Jesus loved Mary the way normal sons love their mothers, would he have put a boot into the arse of “Fox News”® or tell the GOP “It was time to get out of Dodge.”?
The contemporary scenario requires Onslow e’s third graders to think out-of-the-box. Mitch and Lindsey have changed their tune and now whistle “vaccinations are a needful solution” while fools in the chorus shout believe their allegiance to stupidity requires the utter abandonment of common sense, logic, and reason. The rib bone fib allows them to believe she’d “go to heaven!” This “childish make-believe” has real time consequences. It’s time for SCOTUS to take one for Uncle Sam, drive a stake through the heart of what Jesus would call “Roman Catholicism’s fraud” and set Americans free. When John and his colleagues say “It’s wrong for our children to be encumbered by a lie” the anarchy from the chorus will shrivel up and die.
