Imagine giving a lecture to Onslow e’s third graders entitled ‘common sense in the real world.’
If we assume they come from Christian homes, and by default have been clubbed with a rib bone fib, we might begin by calling our discourse “Joe Biden’s Ten Commandments.” The children would then be able to associate the word “mandate” with the word “commandment” and we could begin engage our ability to communicate.
1. “Thou shalt not murder thy neighbor by displaying reckless disregard for their well-being.”
2. “Thou shalt not covet nonsense from fools who claim ‘Covid isn’t real.'”
3. “Thou shalt not tell the nursing or medical community ‘we don’t care if you ‘snuff it‘ by exposing yourself to the deep state’s ‘imaginary diseases.'”
4: “Thou shalt not walk with ‘a form of godliness that denies the power thereof.'”
The GOP and Fox News, et al. are directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans. All of us can share in part of the blame, but these folks have taken a blowtorch to reality and said “we don’t give a fucque, we’re not going to wear a mask. It’s not God’s will for us to show compassion. We don’t need compassion to make America great. We need the anarchy that comes from forfeiting our integrity so we can tell democrats they’re headed for ‘the gates of hell!'”
If “the meek shall inherit the Earth,” and Henry, who walks with “a form of godliness that denies the power thereof” cannot be meek, because he cannot walk with the truth, humility, or compassion, why should anyone want to be a Christian … children?
