“Cognitive Control” and Irrational Fear
Catholicism is all about discipline. It structures do’s and don’ts with the help of imperfect conjecture manipulating irrational hopes and fears with childish make-believe.
The reason the conjecture is imperfect is because it relies on perjured truth as an ‘operating system.’
Disciplining the tribes, by promising the wrath of God upon the heads of those who disobeyed the commandments, is the way the founding acolytes of Judaism 1.0 structured and enforced morality tribal behaviors.
Judaism 2.0 uses eternal damnation and purgatory as the end game for behavior patterns that violate the will or word of God. ‘God’ has been created in the image of Jewish intellectualism. The Torah is a golden idol for the orthodox Jews, while the imagery of Christ serves the same function for Catholicism’s hybrid-bastard lipstick wearing acolytes of atonement doctrine. Irrational fear is the cornerstone for the heresy of atonement doctrine. Fiction about a fall, derived from a tall tale about Adam and Eve, leads to a second rib bone myth. Christ is created with one of Jesus’ rib bones so everyone can ‘repent’ and live happily ever after when they get to heaven.
When we explore the freedom for “cognitive control” to operate without the childish make-believe from Genesis, we begin to empower equality, liberty, and justice for all the people who currently believe that Satan is real. When the hokum is done away with, because perjured truth cannot be protected by the religion clause, the body of Christ is freed from the nonsense that makes many ‘Tarheels’ and ‘Texans’ believe ‘sin’ is actually a word in ‘God’s vocabulary.’
Satan isn’t real. Jesus died.
