When Bishop Spong wrote “Why Christianity Must Change or Die: A Bishop Speaks to Believers In Exile (– April 21, 1999)” we witnessed his desire to travel the second mile.

In 2018 he published “Unbelievable: Why Neither Ancient Creeds Nor the Reformation Can Produce a Living Faith Today.” It did not allow him to cross the finish line. “Jack” is the only Christian I can respect.

To state the matter plainly, any respect for Catholicism only takes everyone deeper into the mire. SCOTUS cannot represent ‘justice for all’ and escape the appearance of grotesque impropriety until it renounces biblical creationism, which birthed the heresy that taints our memories of Jesus with the imagery of Christ.

We can reduce both books into four sentences SCOTUS chooses to ignore. Their anarchy is the fruit of high treason. “Let’s teach children with perjured truth and bring on Armageddon” has become their modus operandi.

Satan isn’t real. Jesus died.
