As a Roman Catholic, you qualify as a victim who suffers from imperfect conjecture. If the truth sets the captives free from imperfect conjecture I should be able to wash your feet with more perfect conjecture. Here goes …
Let’s imagine that cognitive dissonance can cause us to act stupidly.
Is an adult acting stupidly when they say “it’s okay to teach children with perjured truth.”?
No one but you can answer this question. Can you answer the question correctly, John?
If you say “perjured truth is okay” you are not fit to be the Chief Justice of the U. S. Supreme Court. If you answer “no” you must explain why you allow the U. S. Constitution to protect the perjured truth that all Christians use when they share their “good news.”
Cognitive dissonance and peer pressure contribute to the systemic problems caused by ignoring the fact the Bible begins with a lie. Actually there are several that lead to Judaism 2.0’s ability to make you call yourself a Roman Catholic. None are valid. You have been the victim of a ruse that promises to save your soul. Can fiction save your soul, John? We know it can serve as a functional placebo but can it save your soul and make you believe you have one?
Obviously there is comfort to be had in coveting imperfect conjecture. But imperfect conjecture is at the heart of many problems today and we cannot fix them by pretending “all good Christians go to heaven.” Christianity perpetuates the fraud that begins with Adam and Eve.
You must grow a pair and renounce the heresy that makes you claim to be a Roman Catholic. Failure to do so means you are willfully rejecting the truth that is grace from God in favor of theology that leaves your ‘godliness’ flawed. It also makes you guilty of high treason.
