I do not remember if I believed in the existence of God when my education began at Onslow Elementary. The first three years did include exposure to world geography and culture. It was there that I learned about Hermes, the trickster. Do you remember how Athena was born?
Let’s begin with a question. If we tweak how acolytes think can we make the heretics blink?
If God is real and the ‘Spirit’ of God illuminates the truth what does the truth do? I have neighbors who tell me that ‘the truth sets captives free.’ If that is true, what does it set the captives free from? Can it set us free from false conjecture that begins with childish make-believe about Adam and Eve? If the statement is true the answer must be ‘Yes.’
dr tom: “What happens when Christians realize that the truth is grace from God? What happens when the Anti Christ teaches them why their tailbone did not grow a tail? What happens when they realize that Adam and Eve are make-believe?”
huck: “We know the answer to the questions. (“We know dis.”) Everyone ‘in Christ’ chooses to live in denial of the truth that invalidates the need for anyone to believe they must butcher a goat in order to escape the wrath of God.”

kathy sue: “We can do better. We can stop infecting intellectual integrity with the nonsense that claims Jesus rose from the dead. We can stop using Christmas and Easter to divide Americans with ignorance stamped holy. We can replace Adam and Eve with the truth about Darwinism and DNA. We can stop the chaos and the strife by empowering equality, liberty, and justice for all when we give that scarecrow a brain.”

gnofleas: “It happens when SCOTUS chooses to say ‘the U. S. Constitution cannot be used to harbor perjured truth because God wants to bless America.'”

kathy sue: “It grants you the freedom to say ‘we believe God wants us to walk with the truth.’ When children are taught with the truth instead of heresy their logic and reason are not infected with the temptation to eat an apple from a forbidden tree, butcher a goat or drink from a cup on Sunday.”
