Uncle Sam is handicapped by the religious fundamentalism that impedes clear thinking from our Department of Defense. When generals and admirals believe Satan is real, and they are commanded by a president who believes Satan is real, everyone afflicted by the fertile fiction lacks the ability to discern some of the truth from some of the fiction some of the time.
Catholicism compromises intellectual integrity. When leadership perpetually wrestles with their false affection for the truth created by Christmas, Easter, and a rib bone fib ‘we the people’ are incapable of taking the correct steps toward empowerment of equality, liberty, and justice for all.
