Onslow’s third graders have a elementary understanding of the truth. When we say ‘2 + 2 = 4’ they understand why and believe we have spoken ‘the truth.’ When we say ‘2 + 2 = 5’ while holding a gun to someone’s head we are exhibiting ‘confirmation bias.’ When we say ‘Darwinism invalidates biblical creationism and no one should respect ignorance stamped holy’ we illuminate the truth that some claim makes anyone who speaks it a representative of Anti-Semitism. Can the Truth be anti-semitic? Can the truth make the acolytes of Judaism 1 and 2.0 appear as thugs who use pistols to make their childish make-believe the cornerstone for ‘godliness that denies the power thereof?’
