We know why human beings have tailbones
but we’re choosing not to comprehen’
the sophistry that’s used to shackle us with
the fraud framing ‘Original Sin.
We know ‘God’ didn’t make Adam
and we know ‘God’ didn’t curse Eve.
Why do we covet the slander
entrapping us with (childish) make-believe?
We do not understand what it is we do.
For what we want to do, we are unable to.
We should not do what we know is wrong to do.
Why do we preach with the fable we pretend is true?
It’s wrong to teach children with a rib bone fib.
Heresy’s become a beam in our eye.
Perhaps it’s better to teach with the truth
and stop exalting Jesus with the lie.
