Classifying Christians as two groups representing ‘dumb’ and ‘dumber’ must be reviewed in order to build a bridge leading to repentance from all acolytes shackled to the heresies conjured by association with atonement doctrine.
There are actually two groups of acolytes entangled by the heresy of atonement doctrine. There are many Christians and Jews who realize that Genesis is a myth, not literal truth. There may be Jews as well as Christians who don’t know that ‘God’ did not create Adam and Eve. The acolytes who know Genesis is actually a myth represent the dumb group. Those that do not are, by default, ‘dumber.’ (Its simply semantics, not condescension.)
The ‘dumber’ group cannot fathom why human beings have a tailbone and no tail. The group has chosen to think that the actual truth isn’t all that relevant.
It is dumb for people to think the truth doesn’t matter. This group represents ‘a form of godliness that denies the power thereof’ because it fails to dismiss the heresy of atonement doctrine as an exercise in fraud. Repentance is required in order to escape the appears of hypocrisy, John.
The ‘dumber’ group suffers from cognitive dissonance and cannot think critically. If the group were able to use logic and reason correctly its members would see the evidence that shows why they have a tailbone and no tail as a missing link for their ability to embrace all truth as grace from God. Science isn’t evil.
The folk who walk with ‘a form of godliness that denies the power thereof’ are all members of the dumb and dumber clubs.
While DTS may feel that being classified as such is a wee bit condescending it is not. Tough love requires exalting truth at the expense of hurt feelings. Whining that we are being ‘anti Semitic’ or ‘intolerant’ is a false nonsensical expression of concern when we remember Americans are supposed to be about the business of empowering equality, liberty, and justice for all, ‘chuck.’
When justice for all is real, perjured truth is not protected by the freedom of religion clause, no child in America is inclined to believe Eve was tempted by a wily serpent, and the memory and teachings of Jesus are not associated with the heresy of atonement doctrine. This is the path for the second mile Bishop Spong could not travel. The Anti Christ illuminates the fact we have tailbones. No one should have to be exposed to the belief God cursed Adam and Eve. God did not. The authors of the Torah structured faith with a false witness. Perjured truth has consequences. They include chaos, division, and strife. Literacy improves social cohesion when we shitcan replace Adam and Eve with Darwinism and DNA, et al.
