c. ‘a form of godliness that denies the power thereof.’
In Olympic relay races teams have four members. Each must run (or swim) one ‘leg’ of the race. At the end of the designated distance the runner passes a baton to the next.
After the publication of Darwin’s ‘On the Origin of Species’ cognitive dissonance began to become our nation’s greatest domestic threat. How did it happen? SCOTUS dropped the baton. Grace allows the court to try again but their efforts will be futile without repentance. If chief justice Roberts chooses to serve God and Country, without a form of godliness that denies the power thereof, can John ignore perjured Truth? We believe the answer should be ‘no.’ Should his failure to serve ‘God and Country’ be considered high treason?
