• If Steven Pinker is correct we “can foster the welfare of other sentient beings by enhancing life, health, knowledge, freedom, abundance, safety, beauty and peace.” The primary obstacle to our doing so, is a domestic threat protected by the freedom of religion clause. Our Supreme Court chooses not to challenge the assertion “2 + 2 = 5”

The following artwork was found on the internet and is used without official permission. I am hopeful its author will approve. I consider it to be (priceless) minimalism at its best.

We “can foster the welfare of other sentient beings” (page 4) by realizing that biblical creationism is a catalyst for coercion that leaves intellectualism flawed. It is an enemy of the vision that empowers equality, liberty and justice for all.

Anointing the memory of Jesus with the imagery of Christ is like trying to place a band-aid on a damaged artery when a tourniquet is needed. When that tourniquet is viewed as justice that replaces Adam and Eve with Wallace and Darwin, we can kindle Steven’s vision into a progressive reality.
