“New eyes to see the dawn.”

”Since legitimate truths sit in tension of one another, one moral climate will put more emphasis here and less emphasis there, for better or worse. Certain virtues are cultivated, certain beliefs go too far, and certain important truths and moral virtues are accidentally forgotten.” (Brooks, page 247.)

albert: “We live in a world where justice has become anemic, because legitimate truth has been subverted by perjured truth. Claiming that ‘Israel is holy’ is the perfect example of a ‘belief’ that has gone ‘too far.’”

gnofleas: “Judicial fidelity to our Constitution’s freedom of religion clause allows perjured truth to masquerade as grace from God. Virtue has been twisted by acquiescence that fosters respect for cultural ignorance that must be ‘done away with.’”

albert: “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”

gnofleas: “Jesus understood this and tried to rectify the problem. Intellectual integrity would not allow him to endorse atonement doctrine. He understood why imperfect intellectualism hindered social cohesion. He spoke to ‘ears that could not hear’ and became a thorn in the flesh of Judaism’s institutionalized idolatry.”

albert: “When we allow Wallace and Darwin to replace Adam and Eve we are able to rekindle the vision of equality, liberty and literacy for all. When justice becomes real, and the cognitive dissonance from atonement doctrine’s heresy ceases to be a part of ‘our mental furniture,’ the opportunity to reboot judicial integrity improves social cohesion.”
